A blend of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso (80%) and Pignolo (20%). The ripe grapes are collected in trays and laid out to dry, so as to concentrate both the aromatic component as well as the taste. There is a maceration on the skins of about 20 days. Il Forresco is then fined in Allier-Tronçais French oak barriques.
It is a wine that pairs wonderfully with red meat.
